Owl VIP Email Alerts Terms of Service

Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Owl VIP Email Alerts (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
What the App does
The App helps you set up notification rules (for example, VIP sender lists, domains, schedules, and notification sounds) so you can be alerted when email arrives that matches your rules.
- The App uses Google Sign-In and may request Gmail API permissions so it can detect inbox events needed for alerts. By default it requests Gmail metadata access; if you enable snippet previews it requests Gmail read-only access.
- The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging and local notifications to deliver alerts to your device.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the App. The App is not intended for children under 13.
Your account & Google connection
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Google account.
- You may revoke Google access at any time in your Google Account settings.
- Your use of Google services is subject to Google's terms and policies. Owl VIP Email Alerts is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
Subscriptions & paid features (if available)
Some features may require a paid subscription ("VIP") depending on your plan. Pricing and plan details are shown in the App.
- Billing: subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play (depending on your device). We do not store your full payment details.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel in your store account settings.
- Cancellations & refunds: manage your subscription and request refunds through Apple/Google, subject to their policies.
- Plan limits: some plans may limit how many inboxes you can connect (for example, 1 inbox vs up to 3 inboxes).
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access data you are not authorized to access.
- Do not reverse engineer, tamper with, or interfere with the App or its services.
- Do not use the App in a way that violates any applicable laws or Google policies (including Gmail API restrictions).
Notifications are not guaranteed
Notifications can be delayed or prevented by device settings, battery optimization, network connectivity, operating system restrictions, or third-party service outages. While we aim for reliable delivery, we do not guarantee that alerts will arrive instantly or at all times.
Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how information is handled.
Third-party services
The App depends on third-party services (for example, Google Sign-In / Gmail APIs, Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple/Google app stores). Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
Termination
You can stop using the App at any time. You can also delete your Owl data using the in-app "Data & Account" screen and/or revoke Google access in your Google Account settings.
Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sundae Electronics LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice in the App and/or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Any disputes arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
